A traditional stunning festival in Spain celebrated in Buñol, municipality located in Valencia province. La Tomatina is the biggest tomato party in the world, a massive fight where 40,000 enthusiasts turn up for throwing tomatoes to each other. the whole week is a party in Buñol and La Tomatina is its main event.

Itineraries

DAY 1: Barcelona

Arrival at Barcelona and transfer to hotel.

Barcelona sightseeing based on hop on hop off bus to discover the city with a general approach to its main tourist sights. A basic but complete itinerary will help you get to know the city by covering the most interesting places from the artistic and cultural point of view. The Gothic cathedral, Plaça Catalunya, Passeig de Gràcia, Sagrada

DAY 2: Barcelona

Breakfast at the hotel.

Half day excursion to Montserrat.

Montserrat, an imposing rocky outcrop, smoothed away by years of wind and rain, is the holy mountain of Catalonia, which houses the revered image of the black virgin.

DAY 3: Barcelona – Valencia

Breakfast at the hotel and check out.

Transfer to Barcelona train station to take the train to Valencia.

Tansfer to hotel and afternoon at leisure.

DAY 4: La Tomatina day

Breakfast at the hotel.

Early transfer to Buñol. Once in Buñol everything will be ready for the tomato fight! La Tomatina is a food fight festival held each year on the last Wednesday of August in the town of Buñol close to Valencia. Thousands of people make their way from all over the world, to fight in this food fight, where more than one hundred metric tons of over-ripe tomatoes are thrown in the streets. This funny experience lasts for one hour. Don’t forget your goggles and wear old clothes because they probably will be spoiled. after the tomato fight you will have time to clean yourselves off and have some free time for lunch.

Return to Valencia & overnight at hotel.

DAY 5: Valencia

Breakfast at the hotel.

Valencia sightseeing based on a hop-on hop-off bus.

Explore Valencia’s most interesting places, like Plaza del Ayuntamiento (town hall square), the central market, former silk exchange “La Lonja”, Plaza de la Reina, cathedral, Miguelete bell tower, Turia river bed gardens, City of Arts & Sciences.

DAY 6: Valencia – Madrid

Breakfast at the hotel and check out.

Check out and transfer to Valencia train station to take the train to Madrid. Transfer to hotel.

Madrid city sightseeing based on hop-on hop-off bus.

This tour gives you the possibility to explore the city by covering the most interesting places: Puerta del Sol, Puerta de Alcalá, Royal Palace, Cibeles, Paseo de la Castellana, Santiago Bernabeu Stadium.

DAY 7: Madrid

Half day excursion to Toledo on SIC basis.

Toledo is one of the Spanish cities with the greatest wealth of monuments. it is known as the “city of the three cultures”, because Christians, Arabs and Jews lived there together for centuries. behind its walls Toledo preserves an artistic and cultural legacy in the form of churches, palaces, fortresses, mosques and synagogues.

DAY 8: Madrid

Breakfast at the hotel and check out transfer to Madrid airport for departure flight.

End of services.

Full Cancellation will be applied to any cancellation made 4 weeks before departure

We reserve the right to terminate servicing any participant who in its opinion is prejudicing the harmony of the tour group, a burden to the group or for any reason by his/ her conduct that hinders the successful operation of the tour. Payment of reservation fee/ total tour cost shall constitute to all the provisions in the tour booking, payment and cancellation policies and conditions of responsibilities stated herein.
