DAY 1: ARRIVAL | MEET AND ASSIST + TRANSFER

Arrival at the Beirut International airport Meet & Assist +Transfer to the Hotel. Check‐in Procedures at Beirut hotel‐ Dinner at hotel+ overnight.

DAY 2: BAALBECK + ANJAR TOUR

Breakfast at the hotel. Cross Mount Lebanon range and drive through Beqaa plain towards Baalbeck, the site includes the temples of Jupiter, Bacchus & Venus. Drive to Ksara Caves for wine tasting. Then proceed to Anjar, visit this historical Omayyad site, located in the southern part of the plain. Back to Beirut, dinner at Bou Melhem Restaurant or similar Drop to hotel‐ overnight.

DAY 3: NATIONAL MUSEUM | BEITEDDINE | DEIR EL QAMMAR

Breakfast at the hotel, start the day by National Museum visit the principal museum of archaeology in Lebanon. The collection was begun after World War I, and the museum was officially opened in 1942. About 1300 artifacts are exhibited, ranging in date from prehistoric times to the medieval Mamluk period. Drive to Damour, a small town, 17km south of Beirut. The name of the town is derived from the name of the Phoenician god Damoros who symbolized immortality. Then climb another 26km east, passing through the charming town of Deir El‐ Qamar (the residence of Lebanese governors during 16th century). Visit of the imposing palace of Beiteddine, is a masterpiece of the early 19th century Lebanese architecture built by Emir Bechir Chehab II around a small Muslim‐Druze hermitage and Moussa Castle is a castle between Deir el Qamar and Beit ed‐Dine in Lebanon. It was built single‐handedly by Moussa Abdel Karim Al‐ Maamari, a Lebanese visionary. Back to the hotel and overnight.

DAY 4: JEITA | HARISSA TOUR

Breakfast at the hotel. Proceed to visit Jeita Grottoes, a system of two separate, but interconnected, karstic limestone caves spanning an overall length of nearly 9 kilometers (5.6 mi), then continue to Take the cable car to visit Harissa, one of the most important shrines in the world honoring Mary, Mother of Jesus. The shrine is highlighted by a huge, 15-ton bronze statue. It is 8.5 m high, and has a diameter of five meters. The Virgin Mary stretches her hands towards Beirut. Overlooking the bay of Jounieh. Back to the hotel and overnight.

DAY 5: SIDON AND TYRE TOUR

Breakfast at the hotel Tyre, 83km south of Beirut, was declared as a World Heritage Site, for its historical importance. Visit the excavated ruins which consists of three parts: the south side of the old Phoenician island‐ city that includes a large site of colonnades, public baths, mosaic streets and a rectangular arena; the northern site ruins observed from the road; and the third area on the landward side east that consists of the most impressive archaeological remains, such as the Roman necropolis and hippodrome. Drive back along the coastal road to visit another important Phoenician town, Sidon, with its Sea Castle and old covered souks. On the city’s northern gate, the Phoenician Temple complex of Echmoun will be visited, an ancient place of worship dedicated to Eshmun, the Phoenician god of healing, before returning to Beirut. Back to the hotel and overnight.

DAY 6: CEDARS | BCHARE | QADISHA | BYBLOS TOUR

Breakfast at the hotel. Drive along the coastal highway towards Chekka, then ascend east through some of the most beautiful mountain landscapes in Lebanon, continually gaining altitude and offering spectacular views of peaks and gorges, where the Qadisha Valley is, and the red‐roofed Bcharri, the main town of the valley. Back visit the museum of Gobran Khalil Gobran, the internationally famous writer and poet, then visit the Qadisha Valley which is filled with caves and rock shelters inhabited from the 3rd millennium BC. to the Roman period; scattered with cave chapels, heritages and monasteries cut from rock. After Lunch Discover a town that goes back 7,000 years; and the world’s oldest continuously inhabited. Located 37km north of Beirut, Byblos is a quite charming small town of great history. Visit its ancient sites, and explore the old part of the town and souks on foot. Check in at Byblos Hotel, dinner and overnight.

DAY 7: BEIRUT CITY TOUR | DEPARTURE TRANSFER

After Breakfast, drive to the downtown district to see the huge reconstruction project‐taking place to create a new commercial and residential district of the 21st century. Reconstruction project includes new buildings but constructed in the traditional style, besides hundreds of old structures that have been restored and renovated to its original shapes, including Beirut’s souks and historical mosques and churches. Proceed to Corniche Road and stop for a short walk. Further along, the road climbs steeply to a cliff edge, which is the headland of Beirut, with an array of cliff‐top restaurants and cafes‐, a panoramic view of the bay and famous Pigeon’s Rock. Departure transfers (3) Hours prior to flight time.
