DAY 01: DEPARTURE MANILA

Departure from Manila airport and enjoy the airline amenities while on board.

DAY 02: ARRIVAL LISBON/FATIMA, PORTUGAL (D)

Arrival in Lisbon Airport After immigration and customs, formalities, meet you’re your guide and board to your coach and head for the Church of St. Anthony de Padua, built on the site where the saint was born, for a visit and Mass. Across is the Lisbon Cathedral, where St. Anthony was baptized, passing at Belem tower, officially the Tower of Saint Vincent is a 16th-century fortification located in Lisbon that served as a point of embarkation and disembarkation for Portuguese explorers and as a ceremonial gateway to Lisbon. Journey on to one of the world’s greatest Marian pilgrimage centers – Fatima. Check in at your hotel for dinner and accommodation. In the evening, join the Rosary and Candlelight procession.

DAY 03: FATIMA (BD)

Celebrate the Holy Mass in one of the chapels in the Sanctuary. Afterwards, proceed for a tour of Fatima. Visit the Chapel of Apparition, the Basilica where you can find the tombs of the three seers: Francisco, Jacinta, and Sister Lucia, Aljustrel – home of Francisco and Jacinta, Lucia’s house with the well where the Angel appeared a second time, Valinhos – site of Our Lady’s 4th apparition, Loca do Cabeco – where the children received the first and the third visit of the “Angel of Peace,” the Stations of the Cross composed of 14 little chapels, and the Parish Church. The rest of the day shall be free for private devotions and prayers. Spend time at the Sanctuary in the Cova da lria. Meditate and pray at the Chapel of Apparitions, the very heart of the Sanctuary. A marble pillar marks the exact spot on which the Statue of Our Lady is placed. In the evening, join the Rosary and Candlelight procession.

DAY 04: FATIMA – BURGOS, SPAIN (BD)

Breakfast at Hotel, check out. Drive up to the picturesque hills of Spain and arrive at Burgos, once a seat of the government of the Dictator Franco. Dinner and overnight at Burgos Hotel.

DAY 05: BURGOS – LOYOLA – LOURDES, FRANCE (BD)

Visit the Old Cathedral of Burgos then depart for the town of Loyola, birthplace of St, Ignatius de Loyola, founder of the Society of Jesus. Visit the Santuary of Loyola where Mass will be arranged at the Chapel of Conversion. On to the town of Lourdes, where in 1858, the appearance of the mother of God to the then 14-year-old Bernadette Soubirous in the remote Grotto of Massabielle can be summarized in four words that evoke and amplify the Good News of the Gospels: POVERTY, PRAYER, PENANCE and CHURCH. Check in at your hotel followed by dinner. After dinner, catch the evening Rosary and Candlelight procession.

DAY 06: LOURDES (BD)

Celebrate mass at one of the chapels in the Sanctuary. Tour at the house of St. Bernadette and the Museum and the tour at the Lady of Lourdes Basilica. The rest of the day is free for private individual activities. Take time to explore the three superimposed churches built over the Grotto of Apparition, the Basilica of Immaculate Conception (Upper Basilica), the Crypt, and the Rosary Basilica. Spend time meditating and praying the Holy Rosary at the Grotto of Massabielle, the spot where Our Lady appeared to Bernadette and identified herself as, “I am the Immaculate Conception,” The Sanctuaries and pools are always open and religious ceremonies are held every day: Masses, Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, Stations of the Cross, Blessed Sacrament Procession, and the Blessing of the Sick. Join the evening Rosary and Candlelight procession.

DAY 07: LOURDES – PARIS (BD)

After breakfast, check out. Depart for Paris via the TVG fast train in Lourdes train station. Arrival in Paris and enjoy a delightful cruise along the river Seine passing by majestic landmarks. Photo opt with a view of the Eiffel Tower, the icon of the loveliest city in the world. If time permit shopping at La Valle Village. Dinner and overnight in the hotel.

DAY 08: PARIS (B)

Breakfast inside the hotel. Proceed for a visit to the Shrine of our Lady of the Miraculous Medal where you’ll pray afterwards before the incorrupt body of St. Catherine Laboure. See the Cathedral of Notre Dame (external visit), one of the greatest Gothic Churches in the world with its magnificent stained-glass windows. Also see the majestic Arc de Triomphe, Champs Elysse, Place de Concorde, one of the most admired plazas in the world. Proceed for a visit to the Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus of Paris, commonly known as Sacré-Coeur Basilica, a Roman Catholic Church and minor basilica, dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, in ParisCheck into the hotel in Paris for dinner and overnight

DAY 09: PARIS – LUCERNE, SWITZERLAND (BD)

After breakfast, check out at the hotel and Drive to Lucerne passing by Dijon. Overnight at Lucerne.

DAY 10: SIGRISWIL – ISELTWALD (BD)

Breakfast at the hotel, proceed to a full day excursion tour to Sigriswil and Iseltwald. In Sigriswil visit the Panorama Bridge which was one of the shooting locations of CLOY. Then continue to Iseltwald for a photostop at the pier and see Lake Brienz. Afterwards, back to Lucerne overnight.

DAY 11: ALPS EXCURSION (BD)

Breakfast at hotel and proceed to tour. On to Engelberg, board the aerial cableway for a 45-minute journey up the high Alps which offers a spectacular view of ice glaciers. Enjoy the world’s innovative revolving summit at 10,000 ft overlooking the Swiss Alps. Continue to Lucerne for the night but first take a delightful stroll in Lucerne to imbibe the idyllic beauty of Switzerland. Dinner and overnight.

DAY 12: LUCERNE – MILAN – PADUA, ITALY (BD)

Breakfast at Hotel, Check out. Continue to Milan. Have a sightseeing tour dedicated to the city’s highlights. Visit the largest Gothic Cathedral in Italy, Duomo di Milano, dedicated to St Mary of the Nativity. On to Padua for hotel check in. Dinner and overnight.

DAY 13: PADUA – VENICE – FLORENCE (BD)

Breakfast at Hotel. Check out. Sightseeing of Padua will include a visit to the tomb of the saint. Leave for Venice “Queen of the Adriatic” at the Tronchetto, we will catch the boat which will take us at the Venice Island. Venice is a powerful magnet for romantics and art lovers. Visit the Basilica of St Mark with its fascinating architecture, view the Doge’s Palace and the Bridge of Sighs. Watch a demonstration of Murano traditional glass-blowing on to Renaissance Florence, European Capital of Culture. Proceed to hotel for check in, dinner and overnight.

DAY 14: FLORENCE – ASSISI (BD)

Breakfast at Hotel. See the Renaissance treasures of the city. Visit the magnificent Santa Maria del Fiore, Giotto’s Bell Tower, the Baptistry Gate of Paradise and the sculpture studded Signoria Square. Continue to Assisi of the most loved St Francis. Commune in the Basilica, the hub of religious order Devoted to the ideals of humility, forgiveness, simplicity and love for all God’s creatures. Hear about monastic life and view priceless frescoes adorning the walls of the church. Nearby is the church wherein lies the incorrupt body of St Claire. Then to Santa Maria Degli Angeli church to see the thornless rose bush and the Porziuncola. Transfer to a hotel in Assisi for check in, dinner and overnight.

DAY 15: ASSISI – SAN GIOVANNI ROTONDO (BD)

After breakfast, hotel check out. Proceed to San Giovanni Rotondo. proceed and visit the Church of Santa Maria della Grazie where you can find the small chapel where Padre Pio said mass, his cell which still contains books and clothing that belonged to him, and the Sala San Francisco where he greeted the faithful. Then, visit the new Church of Saint Pio of Pietrelcina (Padre Pio Pilgrimage Church) which now houses the new crypt with the exposed body of St. Padre Pio. The rest of the day is free for private individual activities. Proceed to San Giovanni hotel for check in, dinner and overnight.

DAY 16: SAN GIOVANNI – ROME (BD)

After hotel breakfast, check out. Proceed to Rome. Meet our local guide for the start of sightseeing. View the Coliseum-site of gladiatorial combats and early Christian martyrdom, Roman Forum, Piazza Navona, among others. End your tour with a visit to the exquisitely beautiful Fountain of Trevi and Spanish step. Proceed to a hotel in Rome, Dinner and Overnight.

DAY 17: ROME (BD)

Breakfast at the hotel, Morning visit to St Peter’s Basilica. The St Peter Basilica was built over 1500 years ago and can hold a staggering amount of 60,000 people. Proceed to a guided tour at the Vatican Museum and to admire the frescoes of Michaelangelo at the Sistine Chapel. Afternoon guided visits to Basilica of St John Lateran, Scala Santa, Sta Maria Maggiore and St Pauls outside the walls. Free time to shop, back to hotel dinner and overnight.

DAY 18: ROME DEPARTURE (B)

Check out the hotel, according to flight departure time, transfer to the airport for flight back to Manila.

DAY 19: ARRIVAL MANILA

Home sweet home.
